In recent years, with the rising labor costs, industrial “machine substitutions” phenomenon is widespread, therefore industrial robotics gradually developed. As the average wage of workers has soared from 18200 RMB to 56399 RMB in these 10 years in China, this high-cost labor force pressure, the use of industrial robot transformation of intelligent manufacturing trends, is one of China’s major manufacturing strategy.
At present, the robot industry is accelerating the development of the world, expected global industrial robot sales are still double-digit growth in 2017, and sales will reach 285,000 units. Global industrial robot sales increased 12% in 2015, while the world is using more than 1.5 million industrial robots. In 2018, this figure will exceed 2.3 million units, of which 1.4 million units in Asia, accounting for more than half.
Since 2013, China has become the world’s largest consumer of the robot. Consumption of 56,000 robots in 2014, an increase of 55%, accounting for the total global consumption of 1/4, compared to 5800 units in 2006, soared nearly 10 times. In 2015, China’s industrial robot sales of 68,500 units, an increase of 19.9%, are expected in 2017 China’s industrial robot market is expected to exceed 80,000 units.
